Putnam Hill Park is a small area southwest of downtown Zanesville on a high bluff overlooking the Y-Bridge and the city. From the overlook, you get an excellent view of Zanesville to the northeast and the Y-Bridge, which is due north of the park. Unfortunately, although you can get a good record shot of the Y-Bridge, the background is marred by storage tanks and other industrial buildings that detract from the scenic quality of the view. Downtown Zanesville, however, makes an attractive photograph from this vantage point, preferably early or late on a sunny day.
